Despite not being a board-certified dermatologist, she has dedicated many years to studying and doing numerous continual education in dermatology alone. Dr. Jimenez feels confident that with her knowledge and your compliance we can find a diagnosis and a treatment plan for your pet’s skin or ear disorder.
Pet Dermatology Services
You do not need a referral from your regular veterinarian to bring your pet to us! We accept referrals, but if your pet is showing signs of distress from a skin problem, bring him in! Our goal is to diagnose and treat your pet’s skin problems, but if we are unable to succeed with the diagnosis, we will refer your pet to a board-certified dermatologist in the area. We’re here to diagnose and treat skin problems, and that is our specialty.
Some pet skin problems may not seem very important; sometimes they just get itchy skin and the problem goes away in a day or two. But sometimes, pets can become self-destructive. The itchiness from an illness or allergies can become so severe that they remove a patch of fur or make themselves bleed from scratching. This is a serious symptom that your pet needs to be evaluated by our veterinarian at HPSC.
