About Us
Dr. Jimenez, DVM
Dr. Jimenez has over 12 years of veterinary medicine experience in Miami, Florida. In May 2021, her family relocated back to the Raleigh area and experience the beautiful North Carolina. She is happy to join the wonderful team of Creedmoor Road Animal Hospital located in Raleigh. Dr. Jimenez values her roots and is fluent in English and Spanish which enables her to serve the Spanish community of North Carolina.
Dr. Jimenez graduated with honors from Iowa State University for her undergraduate education in 2004 and completed her veterinary degree with North Carolina State University-College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She previously had a “Small Animal Rotating Surgery and Medicine Internship” in Coral Spring Animal Hospital from 2009-2010.
Dr. Jimenez always had a passion for veterinary dermatology and started when she was a kid, and had a German Shepherd named “Ashley”. Ashley suffered from chronic ear infections and ear hematomas. Ashley was in constant pain, and Dr. Jimenez felt hopeless as a young child not being able to help her or find the right vet that could alleviate her pain. Now with the experience and knowledge acquired, Dr. Jimenez is excited to be able to help other pets that currently suffer from ear infections and itchy skin. Dr. Jimenez grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where her love of animals began early in life.
Her childhood was spent caring for a variety of animals from dogs and cats to birds with her grandfather. As a youth, she also volunteered with her mother assisting in an elderly facility.
Dr. Jimenez married her high school sweetheart in 2007. They currently have one rescue dog named “Yunque” and 2 beautiful children, Valeria and Noah. When she’s not in the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on outdoor adventures, and relaxing at the beach.

Many of our team members (including Dr. Jimenez) are Fear-Free Certified Professionals, which means they are specially trained to make your pet’s experience at our hospital as stress-free as possible.
Our specific handling techniques, practice layout, and more all contribute to a peaceful visit to the vet. When your pet is experiencing discomfort as a result of skin conditions, allergies, or something else – the last thing we want is to add to this discomfort during their treatment with us.
